Jeff is a 1980 graduate of Tulsa Union High School, followed by earning a degree from Texas Christian University in 1985 and another from Northeastern Oklahoma State University in 1995.
He began his coaching career with three years in Texas before returning to Oklahoma, where he dedicated over 30 years to coaching at various high schools, including Metro Christian, Shawnee High School, Edmond Santa Fe High School and Tecumseh High School. His extensive coaching experience also extends to the collegiate level at Seminole State College
and the professional level with the Minnesota Twins organization. Furthermore, Jeff served as the Athletic Director for Tecumseh Schools for a decade.
His contributions to baseball have been recognized with several honors, including induction into the Oklahoma High School Baseball Coaches Hall of Fame in 2017, NCJAA Region II Coach of the Year and ABCA Regional Coach of the Year in 2009, and MLB Gulf Coast League All-Star Coach in 2001.
Jeff is married to Rae Ann, and they have three children: Blakely (married to Nick), Jeffrey, and Jayden, along with three grandchildren: Fitz, Henry, and Goldie.
